Used Car Motor Mall of Grand Rapids is seeking a sales representative to join its team. We are one of West Michigan's largest independent car dealerships. We have serviced Grand Rapids and greater West Michigan for over 30 years, selling all makes, models, and types of vehicles. We have a long-standing commitment to helping West Michigan's residents obtain great vehicles at a fair price. Our inventory includes a wide-variety of daily drivers, pickups, SUV's, classic cars, exotic cars, and almost new vehicles.
Automotive Sales Representative Qualifications
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with some prior sales experience desiring to work in a fast-paced team oriented environment. Prior automobile sales experience is not required for this position. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. A critical aspect of success for this job is an ability to self-promote and network with people beyond the customers they meet during regular business hours. However, Used Car Motor Mall will supply the person who fills the position with all the necessary tools and training to be successful. Spanish speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Automotive Sales Representative Responsibilities
Sales Representatives are the liaison between the customer and the management. Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to persuade customers to come to the dealership and/or apply for a vehicle loan. In addition, Sales Representatives help their customers select a satisfactory vehicle from our large inventory. Sales Representative obtain their customers from speaking with the dealership's internet leads, drive up traffic, referrals, and telephone inquiries. Additionally, the most successful Sales Representatives use social media other internet strategies to promote themselves and the dealership's vehicles.

Sales Representative's can also obtain a demo vehicle if they meet monthly sales goals. Additionally, management positions at the dealership are generally filled from the most highly qualified Sales Representatives.
