Director, Program Management Job Opening in Ann Arbor, Michigan - The Director of Program Management supports the successful development and maintenance of long-term, mutually-beneficial relationships with ArborMetrix?s customers. This goal will be achieved by working directly with select strategic customers and through a team of ArborMetrix Program Managers that the Director will recruit, develop and lead. The Director will work closely with his/her peers in Operations, Product Management, Sales and other functional areas to drive and facilitate overall company success.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Attract, develop, and retain the best talent to ensure the highest standard of ArborMetrix excellence
Provide leadership for program managers, creating a culture of teamwork, customer focus, accountability, and quality execution
Manage select strategic customer relationships including overall satisfaction, direction, expectations, and escalation
Establish and manage Agile project methodology incorporating structures, processes, documentation and reporting that fits the needs of the program/project and puts emphasis on the quality of decision making and timely delivery
Develop and lead team in program management, customer service, and problem solving skills
Build and maintain key customer relationships
Participate in selling process including negotiations
Facilitate customer discussions for planning and review of executional accomplishments or shortcomings
Develop and implement communication and interaction strategies with clients and functional partners to ensure efficient delivery
Ensure all projects align to the company?s strategic growth and financial. Deliver team OKR?s that support company objectives
Ensure projects meet objectives, including budgets and schedules
Provide guidance on tradeoffs and priorities to key internal and external stakeholders
Partner with all ArborMetrix teams to ensure appropriate planning, executions, communication, measurement, and leadership to enhance project success rate and accountability
Proactively encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and growth

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor?s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Finance or related field required
Minimum of 5 years? experience in program/project management
7+ years of experience in data, informatics or biostatistics, and experience working with large data sets. Ability to interpret data and its relevance on a wide range of health topics is a plus
5+ years of progressively responsible Director level experience is highly desirable, preferably to include informatics and quality/cost improvement.
Effective at developing strategies for growth and developing positive customer relationships. Highly collaborative, cross-functional and systematic.
5+ years of successful experience in managing a large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse preferably in a healthcare environment
Excellent presentation, communications, and negotiation skills
Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
Demonstrated capability for problem solving, sound judgement, and assertiveness
Able to prioritize and focus on project deliverables and quality in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent MS Project and MS Office toolset skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Master?s Degree in engineering, business or related field preferred
Project management certification e.g. PMP or related certifications a plus
Experience with electronic health records, health information systems and healthcare applications a plus
