Senior Accountant Job Opening in Marietta, Ohio - Alliance Industries, a multi-operational company located in Marietta, OH, seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal communication skills and a proven record of high achievement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Technical ? Job-Specific
Monitor?s the company?s cash position on a daily basis.
Manages all aspects of the company?s financial and accounting functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, cash management, job cost accounting, accounts payable/receivable, taxes, and bank reconciliation).
Prepares and publishes timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
Coordinates audit activities for external auditors.
Maintains key relationships with banks, clients, auditors, and other third parties
Selects and oversees software installation; exhibits advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software.
Establishes, coordinates, and administers plans for the control of operations by company.
Translates complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels.
Complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Oversees payroll processes.
Consults with managers on plan objectives, operating policies & procedures, and organizational structure.
QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
10+ years experience in business accounting
Certifications, Licenses and/or Registrations
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification a plus, but not required
