Staff Accountant Job Opening in Jackson, Michigan - We are a local CPA firm in Jackson, Michigan seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as a staff accountant.
Applicants should be either a recent college graduate, or have a few years of accounting and/or audit experience, either currently CPA licensed or working towards the goal of becoming CPA licensed.
The ideal candidate would have the desire to remain in the Jackson area and grow with the firm.
This position will support the lead auditors and partners of the firm, with a focus on non-profit and governmental auditing, and will also provide support services such a tax preparation, payroll services, and bookkeeping.
Helpful experience includes QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, research skills, and knowledge of US GAAP.
