Physician Assistant - Vascular Surgery Job Opening in Reston, Virginia - Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, seeks a full-time Physician Assistant(PA) to join our Vascular Surgery Team in Reston, Virginia.
As a member of the Vascular Surgery team the PA will work under the supportive supervision of board certified Vascular Surgeons to develop a plan of care by ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic studies through an IAC certified Vascular Laboratory.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collects and assesses medical histories
Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests
Assists surgeons in the OR with surgical procedures
Round on hospitalized patients
Enables continuity of care by managing patient care in pre-, intra- and post-operative settings
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Experience: New Grad and/or entry level within a medical surgical practice
License / Certification:
Current Virginia PA License
Certification by the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
