Software Developer Job Opening in Sugar Land, Texas - Health Club Systems is hiring! We are looking for qualified candidates who can assist clients with proprietary PHP application and work with existing staff on the coding and release of a new and existing PHP based application. ESSENTIAL / KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Application Development
Participates in design and coding for projects.
Participates in the technical specification process to ensure resulting specifications are complete, testable and address the project requirements.
Conduct manual testing to ensure completeness and accuracy of code.
Adhere to best practices and security standards while coding.
Other duties that are within education and experience of the candidate may be assigned for the betterment of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of LAMP development environment.
Knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8
Experience in PHP, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap and MySQL.
Speaks fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skill.
Works well in a team environment and alone.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understands MySQL databases structures and relational data.
Ability to effectively articulate technical issues to other developers, and managers.
