Position Overview
Xometry is seeking several Quality Assurance Engineers to join a newly created QA team. The team will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, and will utilize both automated and manual test scripts to validate our applications work properly. We are an engineering-centric organization and anticipate automating most of our test cases over time so we?re seeking someone with passion for both quality assurance and test automation. Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with a scrum-driven software engineering team to understand application features, and plan and execute tests to validate them
Maximize test quality, coverage, and effectiveness
Automate tests wherever possible; utilize test automaton as a ?force multiplier?
Create and update test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
Monitor release quality, and make recommendations regarding risks and stability of new features

Qualifications
Experience with QA, and test automation methodologies and tools
Passion for quality and continuous improvement
Understanding of the scrum methodology
Hands-on experience with techniques and approaches to test automation on the web and native mobile applications
Ability to learn quickly
Able to thrive in fast paced and dynamic environment
Highly organized with an obsessive attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to efficiently solve problems
Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services and physical devices
Experience using java, python or other high-level languages
Experience testing API integration
