General Accountant Job Opening in Sturbridge, Massachusetts - Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the General Accountant will have a broad range of responsibilities in a complex and dynamic non-profit environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable invoice processing
Accounts Receivable
General financial activities, account analysis and reconciliation
Fixed Asset Tracking
Daily Sales Accounting for lodging and culinary divisions.
Requirements
2 years of experience in accounting, a plus
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office ? Excel and Word, a plus
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Experience in industry, is a plus but not required
Experience with Blackbaud products -- e.g. Financial Edge, Altru; POS systems, is a plus but not required
This position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week with a minimum of 3 days on-site (days are flexible) and includes limited benefits.
