MVC/Web Developer Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - Role and Responsibilities
Develop code using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 in and C# environments using the following:
Azure Web apps using both SQL Server and Azure SQL databases
MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, XML, DevExpress
Write and debug Transact-SQL and LINQ with EF
Developing software solutions within existing architectures and new projects
Perform testing on developed code (initial and regression)
Coordinate and prioritize application modifications and bug fixes
Participate and contribute to a team approach to software development and problem solving
Required Skills and Competencies
Experience with C#, , LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, HTML5 and XML with a solid understanding Object Oriented design techniques.
Experience in web layout design using CSS, HTML 5/XHTML, JavaScript Bootstrap, DevExpress a plus
Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Transact-SQL
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong knowledge of software development best practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
A. or B.S. degree in computer science, IT or related field and 4+ years of directly relevant software engineering experience.
Healthcare experience a plus
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours or weekend duties.
