Job Description:
We are seeking a Server Software Developer to help us continue to improve and expand our proprietary Monitoring System server software. You should have a creative eye with regard to the user interface and a general attention to detail is essential. Occasionally you will be call upon to improve or develop service tool products and mobile apps for Android and iOS environments. A working knowledge of data communications techniques and a basic understanding of protocols like TCP/IP will be an important asset.
This is used throughout the world to monitor laboratories and healthcare facilities, cleanrooms for pharmaceutical, medical device, and semiconductor manufacturing, along with the environments in warehouses and distribution centers for food and pharmaceuticals. The system is also used to monitor energy and utilities consumption in commercial buildings to provide timely information for conservation and cost savings. While the Internet and cellular networks provide the main methods for communications between our server and remote sites, we are developing systems that can be used to monitor anything, anywhere in the world, using the latest satellite communications technology.
Successful candidates should have at least 10 years? experience developing web-based applications using the following tools and systems:

Qualifications:
Must have at least a BS in Electrical Engineering (with an MBA highly desirable, but not essential).
Write, Create Stored Procedures in C++ and C# for server processing code and RDBMS.
Must have at least 10 years of experience developing real-time systems, both embedded and server level, with at least 3 of these working in a project management role. Experience developing low powered wireless sensors is very desirable, but not essential.
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to recognize problems and quickly come up with workable solutions.
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Must be able to work as part of a team of hardware and software developers to get a job done on schedule, while meeting the project requirements.
