Medical Billing and Collections Specialist Job Opening in Jefferson City, Missouri - Respected behavioral health practice seeks an individual with experience in Accounting and Behavioral Health Billing to assume position as a part-time Billing and Collections Specialist. Responsibilities will include: billing contracted services, sending out client statements and follow-up by phone to clients that are delinquent, follow up on insurance claims that have been denied, run Accounts Receivable / Outstanding reports, and resolve problems. Candidate should be able to proactively identify billing problems and develop strategies to resolve problems. Candidate needs to have accounting education or billing/coding (at least 2 years) with 2 years experience with medical billing and collections.
