ASP.NET MVC Developer (210KY) Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - The MVC Developer fills a critical role within our client?s Claims Management Applications group. In this role, you work as a member of the Technology team responsible for hands-on development and support of VB6 applications within our Client?s Information Services Platform. VB6 dev initially required until systems are sunset, then strong C# / experience required.

Required: 8+ years of software development, 2+ years of VB6, 5+ years of C# / , 5+ years of SQL SERVER DB (preferably with 2000 including 2000 DTS), 2+ years of Crystal Reports, 2+ years in a lead software development role preferred

You have the following qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree or comparable work experience. Computer Science preferred.
8+ years of software development, 2+ years of VB6, 5+ years of C# / , 5+ years of SQL SERVER DB (preferably 2000 including 2000 DTS), 2+ years of Crystal Reports, 2+ years in a lead role of a development team preferred, personally and successfully implementing VB6 projects and software.
You can competently demonstrate these skills:
Software Development skills
Understanding of software development methods/practices
Source control, including branching competency and concurrent development
Development methodologies (Agile, Lean)
Unit test and Functional testing skills.
Programming Fundamentals
Security concepts, including Authorization and Authentication
Programming for High Availability, utilizing distributed infrastructures
Programming for High Scalability, utilizing distributed infrastructures
Instrumentation, programming for operational insight through logging
Knowledge and experience with Design Patterns and Refactoring
Understand the fundamentals of relational databases
SQL SERVER DB, MS ACCESS, MySQL, ORACLE DB
DDL, Table structures, Column types, Relationships
DML, SQL operations (insert, update, delete, etc.)
Stored Procedures, Database Objects, Transactions, ATOMICITY
