Accounting Associate/Collateral Specialist Job Opening in Bethesda, Maryland - Immediate need for an Accounting Specialist to join a growing and very successful asset-based lending and factoring company in Bethesda, MD. With opportunity for growth internally, this position will report to the Operations Manager, but also working closely with the team of Underwriters and Account Executives. This role is integral to provide the support necessary to close deals, as well as be responsible for monitor the collateral within accounts, processing lending requests and factoring loans. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to quickly learn on the job, and with the ability to change direction and display flexibility. Communication skills are essential to the role as you will be interacting with many team members throughout your day. Additionally, a keen eye for processing data and ability to spot errors quickly is vital.

Requirements:
Prior 2-5 years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, and loan operations, but direct experience with asset-based lending and invoice factoring lending is highly desirable.
Degree in accounting and finance
Knowledge of and experience with accounting software, primarily Stucky
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
