Position Summary:
A strong background, experience and knowledge in the automotive industry are a must. This position is responsible for driving sales throughout channel partners, end-users and OEM?s. The positons requires a salesperson with strong organization and communications skills to drive sales revenue.
Reports to: North American Sales Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience in Territory Sales Management
Must know how to market the organization and develop solutions that will generate revenue growth to exceed sales targets within Automotive Tier supplies
Highly desired experience in driving change in a growth environment by developing and supporting a distribution partner network
Possess a sense of urgency and the ability to make difficult decisions in a fast pace business environment
Interact with end user customers, distribution partners, systems integrators and OEM accounts to penetrate assigned accounts, prospect new accounts, build customer relationships, and understand customer needs by effectively positioning Datalogic's entire product portfolio
Owns the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicates to the Business Units on an account by account basis when appropriate. Establishes executive level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes and business model.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in a Technical discipline: Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering, or related field of study
Bachelor?s Degree in Business or Marketing with at least 4 years technical experience considered
3 to 5 years sales experience to end users and through channel partners
3+ years? experience in the Industrial Controls and Automation market or similar technology
Strong knowledge of Automotive business environment
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Travel required
