YOU CAN EXPECT TO:
Develop, execute, track and document results for manual test cases for assigned projects and features using VSTS 2010/TFS Test Manager
Investigate product and effectively identifies where breakage may occur
Review functional specifications, participate in design and provide input into test plans for assigned projects
Provide input to existing software development cycle to improve/refine its impacts to the product release
Prepare project estimates and work plans necessary to achieve the goals for building, testing and maintaining the products
Prepare status reports and summarizes testing progress in departmental and project team meetings
Alert senior personnel and escalate when necessary if timetables and milestones are in danger of not being met
Develop tests for future regression of projects/features
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
1+ Years related experience
Experience with MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate and present across multiple business functions
Experience working directly with customers and end users
Practical experience with Quality Assurance processes, procedures and standards
Basic knowledge of SQL and/or XML
Understanding technical and usability aspects as they relate to quality
