Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Darlington, Wisconsin - JOB DESCRIPTION
Respond to customer?s requests about products, prices and equipment operation in a timely manner.
Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
Consult with customers after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
Prepare professional equipment pricing quotes for customers.
Identify prospective customers by following leads, attending trade shows and conferences.
Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense reports.
Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
Recommend products to customers based on customers? needs and interests.
Train customers to operate and maintain new equipment.
Prepare sales contracts and sales order forms.
Some evening and weekend work will be necessary.
The ability to work independently with little supervision.
Deliver and pick up of equipment for repair or maintenance.
Keep organized notes and reports.
Work independently with little supervision.
Interact in a professional manner with customers and co-workers.
Prioritize many responsibilities at one time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Customer service or sales experience.
Five years fire service experience, preferred but not required.
Firefighter 1 Certification.
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
A good vehicle driving record.
Must live in Southwest, WI.
Computer knowledge is beneficial including the use of Microsoft Office products Word and Excel.
