Senior Software Engineer Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Soleran is looking for a full-time, energetic, and self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will: learn quickly, be ambitious, work efficiently, have good problem solving skills, good written and oral communication skills, good research skills, work independently as well as work as part of a team. The position will be a key component of our support and development team. Initially the positions focus will be on resolving bugs then transition to working on optimization and new projects.
You will be challenged to perform a variety of tasks and roles as we are a nimble and dynamic team that works together to perform any task necessary to accomplish our goals. You will be required to work under minimal supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude while being accountable to the tasks assigned to you.
REQUIRED Knowledge and Experience
5 or more years as a Software Engineer
C sharp
Xamarin
MS SQL
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in Building GUI based application using C# APIs and Libraries
Experience with C# and AJAX technologies
C# on Windows Framework 3.5/4.0- 4.6 Visual Studio
MS SQL Server 2012, 2014, or 2016 experience
Application Development work experience
Design, coding, testing and debugging skills
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Background in systems project life cycle with emphasis on C#, Windows, performance tuning or similar knowledge required
Experience with data management, relational, or object-oriented systems
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, J SON and similar front-end languages
Web service integrations & APIs
