What Will You Do at Mixon Hill?
Create interfaces between hardware sensors and processors in real-time systems
Analyze and interpret hardware specifications and needs
Design and develop devices for capturing and analyzing information
Integrate devices into hardware platforms
Design, develop and test software applications for data collection
Create and maintain test plans and test reports
Generate design, technical, and user documentation following Systems Engineering and Software Development Lifecycle practices and standards
What Skills, Education and Experience Do We Require?
C/C++ programming experience (Advanced/Expert levels)
Java programming experience
Ability to analyze situations and offer creative solutions
Ability to analyze data
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or in a related technical field
Experience in Linux and Windows environments
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to perform as a self-starter
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
What Additional Skills and Knowledge are Valuable?
C# programming
Experience with developing algorithms to perform mathematical analysis of data
Security best practices (programming, network)
Experience with DSRC technology
Experience with TCP/IP, IPV6, networks, Wi-Fi and GPS technology
