Job description
Working closely with our Vice President Advanced Programs and our technical sales team, you will be responsible for customer engagement from initial contact to the successful conclusion of our sales opportunities. You will also be a key player within the industry ecosystem to identify and leverage new market opportunities. You will finally be the main contact for our customers? executives and develop customer intimacy, grow our accounts, and insure that our services deliver the expected value.
The location of employment can either be our North American offices in East Hartford CT (USA) and Montreal (Canada), or remote from home office.
Main responsibilities
As Senior Sales Manager, and responsible for business development and sales, your role will involve:
Develop a good understanding of our product and service offering (embedded software development and verification, critical systems, system integration?)
Prospect and secure new customers
Develop and maintain executive relationships with our customer base
Nurture and expand our sales with the current clientele
Prepare proposals, respond to complex RFPs, and contribute to business cases
Participate in our marketing activities - industry trade shows and conferences
Contribute within the industry ecosystem and develop profitable relationships with key influencers and stakeholders of the Aerospace industry
Maintain our sales information system (CRM) accurate and up-to-date
Desired skills and experience
+10 years relevant experience in complex technical service sales to executives of product management and engineering groups of large aerospace corporations in North America
Demonstrable successful experience in the sale of 6 and 7 digits engagements
Background in embedded software development within certified environments (DO-178, ISO 26262) is an asset
Bachelor?s degree in science, engineering, or business sciences
Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
French language is an asset
Strong interpersonal and great presentation skills
Customer-oriented hunter profile
Available for business travel within North America (few days per month)
