MBS now has an immediate opening for a full-time Software Engineer to join our in-house staff at our Ralston, NE office. This is a unique career opportunity to join a well-established leader in the bank software industry.

Responsibilities
Work as part of a small team of software engineers to maintain our existing legacy suite of products.
Design and code client requested features and enhancements that delivers high functionality and are efficient from a coding and application perspective.
Collaborate with unit testers during the testing phase of development.
Provide input when troubleshooting customer problems at the application level.
Attend and participate in planning/design meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
A minimum of 1-2 years? experience, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency, in C#, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, and framework.
Experience in MFC C++, MSI and WIX deployment packages, WCF, WPF, LINQ, Team Foundation Server, Object Orientated design, Entity Framework, and advanced MSSQL administration and programming skills are preferred, but not required.
Should have a solid developmental background, a knowledge of best practices in software design, and an understanding of software engineering concepts and common coding patterns.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
The ability to work independently with little supervision, use common resources for debugging problems, and possess an ability to conceptualize and troubleshoot complex coding and user problems.
The ability to embrace or learn a wide range of skills to complete projects.
