Breckenridge Insurance Group is searching for a full-time (40 hours per week) Accounts Payable Specialist in our home office in Kennesaw, GA. This position is responsible for processing invoices and payments to vendors using automated systems.
Responsibilities include:
Process and reconcile payments from customers and ensure all funding has been received
Research returned checks and carrier payments
Process refund checks to lenders for returned funds
Upload cleared check files into automated systems
Reconcile cleared checks to account balances
Work with the Operations department customers to resolve discrepancies
Create monthly billing reports
Our ideal candidate will have two years of accounts payable experience in a service environment (banking or insurance environment strongly preferred). Excellent computer skills are required, including experience with accounting software (MAS 200 preferred) and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Candidates must have great attention to detail and work well in a dynamic team environment.
