Sales Engineer Job Opening in North Providence, Rhode island - We have an immediate opening for a talented SALES ENGINEER. This is a technical sales position requiring an in depth knowledge of engineering. In this position, you will be involved in all facets of the sales process including prospecting, relationship development, value determination through problem/need identification, quoting and account management. You must be able to discuss commercial and technical issues with design engineers (internal and customer), purchasing, and executives, and develop solutions. Your activities will be heavily weighted toward your knowledge of engineering coupled with your ability to develop a relationship with and service existing and new customers.
In this highly visible position, you will be actively involved in regular management meetings to discuss customer issues and periodic executive strategic planning sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or other technical discipline.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and MS Project.
Project management skills; analytic and problem solving ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Networking skills.
Industry experience in aerospace manufacturing desired.
Engineering and/or manufacturing experience desired.
Business to business sales desired but not required.
