Summary/Objective: The Outside Sales Representative is accountable for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas. The Sales Representative plays a key role in increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, and qualifying prospects.
Job Description:
Utilize all available resources to identify new prospects, effectively reach out to them and successfully turn them into long-term customers
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory as an Outside Sales Representative
Meet personal sales goals using various proven customer sales methods
Forecast sales, develop sales strategies/models and be able to evaluate and optimize their effectiveness
Assist sales support representatives with inbound sales requests
Generate sales reports each week and submit them to leadership
Represents InfoStructure at networking events and trade shows to promote products and services, accumulate new leads and make productive contacts
Maintains expenses within a predetermined budget
Maintain a culture of teamwork and camaraderie that promotes positive interaction within all departments
Technical background preferred, but not required
Telecommunications background preferred

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and normal work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a salaried/commission based employee, your compensation is tied to results and not the number of hours you spend accomplishing them (minimum wage laws notwithstanding).
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel will be expected for events. Mileage reimbursement provided, but no car allowance will be given.
