Business Analyst Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Position Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for working closely with Senior management, as well as directing the activities of developers, UX designers and DBAs, for the implementation and post-implementation support of a significant web-based application.
Essential Duties & Summary of Responsibilities:
Lead user/stakeholder interviews and working sessions.
Identify, capture and design business processes while analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
Hands-on business process and requirements analysis including documenting ?as-is? and designing ?to-be? business processes.
Communicating with high profile client on a daily basis including providing on-site client support.
Acting as a subject matter expert in the functionality of the system.
Researching questions/client issues or concerns and interfacing with internal resources to bring resolution to client concerns/issues.
Creation of solutions, design documents, status reports, meeting documents, and other deliverables required by project.
Facilitating scoping and design sessions.
Use SQL to analyze results.
Implementation and post implementation support of project requirements.
Conduct system testing of project requirements and bug fixes.
Validation of project requirements
Other related duties as assigned by Senior Management team
Qualifications Requirements:
Candidates must have a combined 5+ years overall experience with Business Systems Analysis and in software development. Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to excel in fast-paced environment and to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
Systems implementation skills including analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training and change management skills.
Experience in Agile development methods.
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills.
Displays teamwork, ownership, initiative, and leadership.
Ability to communicate with stakeholders and effectively present solutions.
Solid ability to write technical specifications.
Experience in working in a professional services client-facing engagement.
Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft products ? Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, SharePoint
SQL
Must be willing to travel, although work will be primarily in Phoenix
Education Requirements:
4 year Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.
