Field Service Technician Job Opening in Green Bay, Wisconsin - The MinuteKEY founders spent several years fine-tuning the technology to create a highly accurate, reliable and easy-to-use key-cutting device. We are currently hiring for a part-time Field-Service Repair Technician in our Green Bay/ Upper Peninsula market area. The perfect candidate will have a have flexible work schedule available for 10 hours per week on average, and is looking for part-time income.
This would be ideal for someone retired or a college student. You would be responsible to visit 8-10 machines once every 4-6 weeks for scheduled service that includes restocking, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance. Every visit would include time spent communicating with store personnel and customers. You must have a flexible work schedule that you can control to be available for repair dispatches. Availability for weekend repair dispatches is required.
We are looking for an energetic and positive person who enjoys the challenges of solving problems as well as interacting and building relationships with our client locations who are some of the largest retailers in the country as well as with our direct use customers. Our candidate will have a high level of ownership in their work, good computer skills, speak fluent English, and can handle both basic and precision tools. You need to have a basic understanding of electro-mechanical functions and how machines operate. You will need to be able to carry about 25 pounds routinely and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will need to be able to accept shipments of merchandise at your house - product is very small so very little space will be needed to store inventory. A proven technical repair background is required.
As a Field Service Representative, you would be paid $16.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement .35 cents per mile.
Education / :
High school Diploma, GED, associate degree or equivalent required
Background in equipment repair and maintenance
Prior experience in retail, merchandising, field operations or customer service
Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
Computer literacy, including office productivity applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and email.
Ability to represent MinuteKEY professionally at all times.
Ability to lift 25- 50 lbs, can bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license
Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance
MVR, drug screen and background checks are required
