Customer Service Representative/Scheduler Job Opening in Martinsburg, West virginia - This candidate will ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating the order process, ensuring shipments arrive on time, and serving as the customer advocate. They will oversee the maintenance of inventory and ensuring that there is an adequate supply level based on orders, production schedule, and forecast. :
Ensures that customers receive orders through the coordination of other departments.
Verifies pricing, scheduling, and shipping of customer?s orders .
Responsible for data entry as orders are received from customers.
Responsible for analysis of open orders, packing slips, and creation of pick tickets.
Verifies inventory of components .
Serves as customer/supplier contact.
Notifies customers when shipments have left.
Contributes to daily scheduling meetings.
Assists in physical inventory as needed.
Work with Accounting Department to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Complete sales forecasting for customers.
Schedules freight too be picked up here and delivered to the customer . If we are responsible for freight, verify and approve freight invoices.
Assist as necessary with updating/changing BOM?s.
Interface with Sales/Account Managers, Material Managers and the Distribution Center as required to help resolve customer issues.
Interface with freight carriers as needed to help resolve pricing and logistics issues as they come up.
Responsible for the maintenance of inventory at adequate supply levels based on orders, production schedule and forecast .
Responsible for scheduling jobs and sample request for the manufacturing plant .
Responsible for count sheets?count all inventory and enter into variance reports and recount any questionable items.
Receive and review silo counts on a daily basis to insure silo quantity and IQ match.
Creates templates to verify that we have capacity available for new/transfer business.
Facilitates meetings to better understand how maintenance and machine moves will affect production.
Completes 5S and layered audits.
Assist in mock audits.
Qualifications: Associates degree required, bachelor?s degree is preferred. Minimum three years? experience in customer service and scheduling. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills required. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) . Ability to learn IQ Enterprise (Technimark?s business system). General knowledge of injection molding and manufacturing operations.
