Hyperbaric Technician Job Opening in Coldwater, Michigan - JOB SUMMARY :
Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients of the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine, under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION LICENSURE :
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensures, or eligibility for licensure in the State of Michigan for Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Hyperbaric Technologist. Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare is required. Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred. BLS certification required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
The work environment is indoors, with adequate heating and cooling. There is a significant amount of equipment for patient care, as well as many supplies stored in the work environment.
