Mortgage Sales Manager/Branch Manager Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Mortgage Sales Manager is responsible for originating loans, recruiting, managing, coaching, and motivating a staff of outside loan officers, to meet sales production goals, to assure compliance with, regulations, and policies, and typically manage a minimum of 5 sales professionals. This position requires strong sales and marketing skills, excellent communication skills, detailed follow-through, and will be responsible for managing total team revenue and origination quality.
The Mortgage Sales Manager is expected to identify partnership opportunities and develop strong business relationships.
Responsibilities:
Supervises the daily operation of production for their team, including support of Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO), as required.
Recruit/Hire or demonstrate ability to recruit/hire additional sales professionals (MLO?s) into the corporation.
Manages the branch sales performance, motivation, scheduling, training, and administration of policies/procedures
Ensures the origination team is presenting loans at appropriate rate, amounts, terms that comply with VWM program guidelines
Review sales pipeline on daily/monthly basis to achieve monthly sales goals
Assists in of loan originators to function in all aspects of loan origination and selling techniques in a sales environment with marketing-supported lead management
Build network and community relationships, aggressively promoting VWM to real estate agents, builders, developers, financial planners and other referral sources.
Works with the senior management to achieve team/department goals
Maintains personal and team compliance with Valley West Mortgage Code of Conduct
Collaborates with the Operations Department to assist in the flow of production
Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
Four (4) year business or finance degree preferred
Desire to grow your career in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership characteristics to motivate and direct a team of mortgage professionals.
Must have a mortgage license in Nevada
Must have proven sales experience in the mortgage industry
Prior management experience
Relevant experience in selling mortgage products in the finance company/mortgage industry preferred
Experience with Encompass
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills, sales and customer relations
Keep informed of developing trends in the industry
Perform other duties as assigned by senior management
Ability to supervise workflow with focus on quality results
Ability to work independently
High level of integrity and confidentiality required
