Director of Pharmacy Network Job Opening in Natchitoches, Louisiana - Role and Responsibilities
Pharmacy Network Directors possess an integration of inter-personal, contract negotiation, management and specialized skill sets. The Pharmacy Network Director is responsible for negotiating pharmacy contracts and managing relationships with current contracted in-network pharmacies. The Pharmacy Network Director will act as point of contact for pharmacies regarding onboarding and implementation with Southern Scripts. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with Pharmacies
Meet regularly with management, project teams and functional team leaders to review program performance and contracting strategies
Ensures pharmacy contracts are executed within SS guidelines
Work with team to perform cost/benefit analysis and determine impact of proposed changes
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree required; Master?s Degree preferred
2 -3 years Pharmacy Benefit Management experience required
2 ? 3 years in an insurance plan contracting or provider relations arena
Demonstrate good presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills
Experience with client or provider relations
Intermediate or great proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Presentation experience, preferably with provider and group assets
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, establishing rapport and working with others
Program performance and understanding of healthcare analytics
