Who We Are: Makdad Supply has been providing brand name products, expert technical knowledge and superior customer service to the HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration) industry since 1948. We are a family owned and operated wholesale distribution company with six locations in central Pennsylvania.
The Opportunity: We are searching for a Territory Sales Representative who will be primarily focused on sales growth via new business development and maximization of share of wallet of current customers. This is a ?hunter" position.
Responsibilities:
Increase profitable market share through aggressive development of new business relationships within our Central, PA sales territory.(Harrisburg, State College, Williamsport triangle.)
Develop current and new business growth through introduction and education of Makdad?s full line of products, promotions, and services.
Execute the sales cycle: New business contact, presentation, quoting, order processing, customer relationship growth, communication and management and reporting.
Assist in annual strategic market planning and sales forecasting process for designated sales territory; track and monitor performance against quota.
Grow profitable business relationships with current customers by providing outstanding service and support while capitalizing on resources available through Makdad and suppliers.
Requirements:
3+ years of HVAC/R distribution experience.
3+ years of successful outside sales experience, direct to the contractor segment.
Motivated and results driven, with a strong drive to succeed and demonstrated history of achieving sales goals.
Experience with cold calling and business development.
Must be profit focused.
Experience working in a commission structure of at least 50% of pay.
Positive worker with an ability to problem solve and handle pressure.
Must possess excellent time management skills.
Must be a closer.
