Accounts Payable Clerk Job Opening in Deer Park, Texas - VacOne Services LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in Deer Park, TX. We are looking for a strong and dependable individual as we are experiencing growth. This position will be responsible for accounts payable and providing operational accounting support.
Job Duties:
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
Answers all vendor inquiries
Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files
Skills and Qualifications:
Recent 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience within the oil and gas industry
Experience with credit card processing and ACH payments
High degree of professionalism
Must be able to demonstrate intermediate level skills in MS Excel and MS Word
Strong organization and time management skills
General Accounting knowledge
ERP software experience
