Accounting Clerk Job Opening in San Antonio, Texas - Do you have experience as an Accounting Clerk with knowledge in accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger? Do you have Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel? Are you looking to work in a fast-pace environment? If this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, then we'd like to speak with you!
What you'll be doing:
Maintaining accounting records by making copies and filing documents
Reconciling bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger
Maintaining accounting databases by entering data into the computer and processing backups
Verifying financial reports by running performance analysis software program
Determining value of depreciable assets by running depreciation software program
Projecting organization's value by keeping information confidential
Accomplishing accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Working hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm
Skills:QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2-3 years of accounting experience
Must be able to meet multiple deadlines during the month
Competency working with numbers
Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a PLUS!
Agree to communicate with all levels of personnel in a professional manner both verbally and written
Follow company policy and procedures in a public accounting atmosphere
Steady employment history
Agree to a background and drug screen required for this position
