Verification Clerk Job Opening in Delray Beach, Florida - Immediate vacancy for a Verification of Benefits Clerk.
Job Functions will include:
Making contact with insurance carriers to verify coverage levels.
Entering data in an accurate and timely manner
Maintaining and updating insurance information in KIPU
Interacting with carriers online and, via telephone to ensure maximum coverage benfits
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years? experience in revenue collections and appeals, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Experience using an Electronic Medical Record?KIPU, NueMD and ProHelath.
Expert knowledge in EXCEL, ADOBE, PDF, Microsoft Word.
Working knowledge of Navinet and other carrier sites.
Must type 40 WPM
Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline, including Behavioral Healthcare Code of Ethics.
Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills. Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
