On-Call (Weekends) Staffing Coordinator Job Opening in Gainesville, Florida - Moderately responsible position to perform scheduling and staffing of Meridians 24/7 nursing & residential programs on weekends. Must be available to take call every weekend. Must have flexible schedule. Recent nurse staffing/scheduling experience required. This is an ON-CALL position.
Schedule: Covers Friday 5pm-Monday 8a every weekend. Weekend Coverage is 10 hours paid time worked. Required to pick up cell phone and schedules from main office Friday afternoon and return Monday 8am. Must be available AT ALL TIMES during the weekend to respond to phone calls and text messages.
Maintains a positive, proactive customer service approach through cooperation and communication within the HR department and other Meridian employees and Program Managers.
Secures coverage when call-outs and emergencies arise for RN?s, LPN?s, CNA?s, Recovery Specialists, Counselors, etc. for Meridian?s 24/7 programs.
Responsible for scheduling and workforce coordination of 24/7 staff including call-offs and requests.
Performs other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives or as assigned by the Vice President of Staffing and Recruitment. Other work may be assigned during weekend, as well.
Reports to the Vice President of Staffing and Recruitment.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of recent nurse scheduling/staffing experience. Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking ability and a strong positive 'customer service' attitude with stable work history is critical.
