Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - We are an Independent Pharmacy looking for a strong team player who is passionate about customers. The candidate should be willing to learn and be able to multitask and wear different hats due the many services provided.
Full-time and Part-time positions available.
Pharmacy Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday: 9:00-6:00
Saturday: 9:00-1:00
Sunday: Closed
Pharmacy Technician Job Duties:
Accurate data entry skills [patient demographics, computer entry, insurance adjudication]
Filling medications, maintaining drug inventory, answering phone calls, coordinating deliveries, filling prescriptions
Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
Willingness to be a team player and promote a positive team environment
Excellent attention to detail
Flexible and proactive to meet varied patient needs
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Able to effectively present information to the patient
Dedicated to excellence and quality
Able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Strong interpersonal and "people" skills
Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing with the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy
Preferred experience :
Pharmacy Technician: 1 year
Retail Experience
Required education:
High school or equivalent
CPhT, Louisiana active license required
