We pay a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients who require acute care and rehabilitation over an extended period. The primary purpose of the LPN position is to provide quality nursing care to the residents. This position must be filled by a licensed practical nurse.
Job Duties
Provide kind and compassionate care and clinical assessments for residents in a nursing facility
Plan, implement and document nursing care
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and physical support as needed to residents and resident families
Administer medications and treatments to residents and monitor residents' response
Record residents' medical information and vital signs
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residents' conditions
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate resident care plans
Provide direction and supervision to lower level nursing staff
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements and Skills Desired
Registered nurse with bachelor?s degree
Long term care experience preferred
