Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant Job Opening in New Orleans, Louisiana - Jefferson Healthcare is seeking Attendants. This position works a 4 on / 2 off schedule. Prior experience as a housekeeper or laundry attendant is required. Prior experience in a hospital or long term care facility is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable work environment
Maintaining infection control procedures when performing housekeeping and laundry tasks
Polishing furnishings, fixtures, and ledges
Cleaning, sanitizing, and washing bathroom fixtures
Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, and mopping
Removing dirt, grease, and film from surfaces using proper techniques
Washing facility linens and resident's personal clothing, and returning them in a timely manner to the residents
Willing to work as part of a team and take direction
