ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Full cycle of general accounting responsibility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, general ledger accountability and financial analysis, as well as other special projects as assigned.
Prepare and record asset, liability and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Review, investigate, and update financial entries, documents, and reports.
Perform accounts analysis and reconciliations, including assets and liabilities accounts.
Ensure that all deadlines are met in accordance with the closing dates set by management.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as variance analysis.
Process improvement and desktop procedures documentation.
Document and monitor internal controls.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have at least 3 years or more experiencing working in Accounting
Must demonstrate professional appearance and friendly demeanor (including the ability to have fun)
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Computer literate and MS Office, strong working knowledge of Oracle R12 or other ERP experience
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with a strong commitment to prepare accurate work
Must work well with others or alone, under minimal supervision
Must perform well under pressure and deadlines
Interest in developing efficiencies
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
