Cellular Network Test Engineer Job Opening in seattle, Washington - Cellular Network Test Engineer V- Contract Assignment 12 months The individual test engineer will be responsible for working on the conformance and Mobile operator approval tests for testing Windows Phone enabled smart phones. Tests have to be executed on various network simulators or conformance test systems. It is required to created test cases for reproducing any field issues or complex network scenarios. Test may also need to created and executed to meet the mobile operator technical acceptance requirements. Skills/Requirements: Excellent knowledge of cellular technologies GSM, WCDMA, CDMA on network and mobile side protocol Knowledge of 3GPP specification focusing Layer2 and Layer 3 Experience in development or testing of call processing ( L2/L3) procedures on GSS/WCDMA/CDMA/LTE. Experience in running the 3GPP conformance test case GCF/PTCRB on Anite SAT / CRTU /Anritsu 8480 Experience in creating the test scripts on Anite SAT/SAS, Anritsu RTD and Anritsu 8470 C script environment Good understanding of US and International Mobile Operators test spec , test cases and execution on live and simulated networks Debugging connectivity and call drop issues, analyzing data throughput issues and other product performance issues Experience in using network simulator such as Agilent 8960, Anritsu 8470, CMU 200, Anite SAT/SAS, Spirent ULTS/PLTS Experience in creating cellular test automation for Smart phones on network simulators Knowledge of Windows Mobile architecture and Radio interface layers or any other smart phone OS is preferred. 5 years of relevant experience Core Skills: Mobile Simulator (like Anritsu, Spirent, Agilent) experience and Mobile Technologies like GSM, CDMA experience. seattle wa washington
