Purpose of this Role:
Within the GRC Department, the Quality Assurance Audit Team is responsible for conducting monthly audits and issuing results to monitor and report on law firm quality performance and compliance with client standards. The analyst may be required to collect, review, respond to and record firm corrective action plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete monthly assigned audits and assist team members with completing audits if/when required.
Identify and communicate opportunities for to current review process.
Maintain current and accurate records of all relevant communications, audits, corrective action plans and effectiveness monitoring.
Retain written documentation for reporting of findings.
Complete reports and present analysis of findings.
Collect, and assist with developing and analyzing quality measurement data.
Review audit finding rebuttals and provide feedback to firm management, as needed.
Conduct follow-up audits to monitor progress on corrective actions and escalate issues, as applicable.
Other duties may be assigned.

The auditor identifies and executes these opportunities by establishing audit criteria, validating performance, providing insight into quality improvement opportunities and working closely with business teams to apply sound quality principles.

The audit team improves the organization?s operations and performance in meeting quality standards critical to client satisfaction and retention and provides assurance that the audit activity is in conformity with the established standards.

Ability to quickly adapt to and navigate various computer software programs.
Superior analytical skills.
Ability to read, interpret and comprehend complex documents such as contracts, work standards and investor, agency or regulatory bulletins.
Ability to create professionally written documents
Self-directed initiative with ability to work in fast paced environment.
Ability to work additional hours to accomplish tasks or meet deadlines, as needed.
Ability to independently analyze and research a situation to resolve key issues
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. Must be a reliable team member.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner in both written and verbal format at various levels of the organization.
Training and Experience:
Associates or Bachelor?s Degree or commensurate work experience.
General understanding of Mortgage Banking, Banking, Finance or experience in Law Firm preferred
Prior quality control work experience preferred
Advanced experience with Microsoft EXCEL 2010
Conditions of Work:
Able to sit for long periods of time
Able to focus for long periods of time
Able to work at least a 40 hour work week
Able to work using computers for a significant portion of the day
