Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer Job Opening in san diego, California - Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team of mortgage professionals. As a Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer you will be expected to work from our corporate office as a full time employee. You will be working with inbound and outbound calls from customers interested in learning about the reverse mortgage program. You will be part of our team of advisors that originate reverse mortgage loans through our proven sales process. Your goal as a reverse mortgage loan officer with our company will be to build and grow our financial services division through the origination of products designed to help seniors 62 years of age and older. We are looking for ambitious, talented, compassionate employees that want to be involved with helping seniors understand the benefits of a reverse mortgage. You will spend your day �plugged in� to our system. You will be expected to follow our proven sales process to create relationships and origination opportunities with seniors. You will be trained in this process and be expected to follow a sales process that includes generating interest, extensively surveying the sale, demonstrating the products advantages and closing the sale. Follow up skills and the tenacity to succeed will be essential to your success as a reverse mortgage loan officer with our company. In most cases, a sale is not made on this product until you have made contact with your customer between 5 and 8 times. In addition, once you have the customer moving forward in the sales process, your success at closing the transaction will come from staying in touch with the customer and making sure they feel confident about their decision all the way through closing. There are both inbound and outbound leads you will be speaking with. Upon completion of your training you will receive internet leads and inbound calls from our web and direct mail marketing campaigns. During the training process you will be expected to spend some time following up on leads that have been created through our previous campaigns. Once you have perfected your sales presentation and had some initial success in building good customer relationships, your normal lead flow will be turned on. In both cases, whether you are working on outbound calls or receiving inbound calls, your success will be greatly dependent on your ability to clearly communicate the details about the product while building a relationship with the customer that helps move the sales process forward. Requirements � Proven successful sales experience in the mortgage industry. Reverse mortgage experience a plus � Excellent communication skills and the ability to close a sale over the phone � Good phone and personal relationship skills � Proficient at using computers and the internet for work flow � 4 year degree preferred but not required san diego ca california
