We are seeking a hungry, driven, self-motivated, results oriented Regional Sales Manager with a knack for details. Extensive product training will make you a master of your craft. Your success will be dependent on your ability to work with your Sales team to identify new business opportunities. Some of our Clients include Architects, Designers, Contractors and C-level executives. Business development and effectively maintaining and managing your teams pipeline will fast track you to exceeding your sales goals for an optimal payout. Position Overview :
The primary function of this position will involve Managing and providing clear leadership direction to the Account Executives and Business Development Representatives in Southern California. This entails daily visits to the showrooms for continuous sales motivation, end user sales calls, and support to improve the daily activities of the Sales Team.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
Consistent travel to all showrooms
Develop and generate new business with Architects, Designers, Contractors, Builders, Developers
Working closely with Director of Sales and Operations
Ongoing product knowledge support and sales support
Maintaining showroom integrity ? making sure the showrooms are presentable with up-to-date equipment
Motivating Sales Team
Lead, motivate and present positively to Sales Reps by delivering strong results
Help each Account Executive and Business Development Representative create daily schedules and/or plans
Training Reps on time management skills
Reviewing sales scenarios and finding solutions or reasons for lost sales opportunities
Reporting to Director of Sales on the ?state? of the sales team on a monthly basis
Reviewing monthly / quarterly sales goals versus actuals with Director of Sales
Promoting and developing the proactive sales strategy
Working with Sales team to create ?events? at each showroom to draw in potential proactive leads
Master our CRM, Operations Process, etc?
Qualifications:
5+ years of field sales management experience with 10 years of actual sales experience
Proven track record of success in sales and personnel management
Impeccable presentation and communication skills both verbally and written
Measurable and effective managerial and leadership behaviors
High level of proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Patience and ability to handle different and/or challenging situations
Teamwork oriented
Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
Strong negotiation skills
