Federal Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Herndon, Virginia - Indeed Hire is in partnership with SolarWinds to locate a Federal Inside Sales Representative to join their team in their Herndon, VA location.
Responsibilities:
Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, and selling of SolarWinds products to Federal Government customers
Qualify inbound and outbound leads
Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the SolarWinds value proposition
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist potential customers during the product evaluation process, create quotes and new customer accounts, coordinate with distribution and channel partners, and proactively sell into the installed base and new accounts
Manage, maintain, and communicate accurate customer and pipeline records within SalesForce and to sales leadership
Submit accurate and timely activity reports as required
Conduct online product demonstrations to potential customer audiences that are both technical and non-technical
Understanding of the Federal procurement process
Identify and develop new business through channel partners
Provide market feedback to include customer priorities and needs
Qualifications:
Federal Sales experience
Passion for selling
Enthusiastic and self-starting approach
Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Exchange, Power Point, Excel, etc)
Previous experience working at a Federal value added reseller or distributor
Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
