Community Outreach Coordinator Job Opening in Spring Valley, New york - MedWiz pharmacy is seeking to hire a Community Representative for the Rockland County . The person in this position is responsible for developing early and appropriate referrals by creating and sustaining business partnerships with new and existing referral sources.
Developing relationships with professional and healthcare referral sources
Conducting cold calls and one-on-one visits to referral sources
Hosting referral events, seminars, programs at the community
Conducting speaking engagements in the surrounding communities
Developing joint marketing opportunities with referral sources
Participating in local groups, clubs, associations
Essential Qualifications Include: - At least 3 years' recent marketing or liaison experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in home health care - Proven ability to develop and implement marketing plan - Demonstrated success in achieving referral goals within the market Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the general public
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
