Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Opening in Saint Paul, Minnesota - Accounts Receivable Specialist if you're a self-starting and detail oriented accounts receivable (a/r) clerk, we might have a job for you! this is a long term temporary accounts receivable clerk position and is based in the north saint paul, minnesota area. entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer a/r issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to g/l will be among the accounts receivable clerk's duties. a strong candidate for this job will be looking for career growth potential, and be capable of processing 200+ invoices per week. please submit your resume to and call 651-293-3973 for review and consideration. in this position you will: - reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers - sort out payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with gaap - contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans - communicate, reinforce, and support the values, culture, and mission of the organization - offer information to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders - confirm documents and codes - pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment - execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
