Reservation Sales Agent Job Opening in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Sandbridge Realty is currently hiring for a dedicated individual to fill a reservation/sales agent in our vacation rental department. We are located in the Sandbridge community of Virginia Beach and our business is providing memorable beach rental experiences for vacationers. This is a full-time position that requires weekdays, weekends and rotational evenings. Top-notch salesmanship with closing experience is an absolute necessity. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated, detail-oriented and energetic, maintain a positive attitude, and possess strong customer service skills, strong verbal and written skills and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate must be able to function independently and in a team setting. It's a plus if you have a current Virginia Real Estate license. We promote a smoke-free work environment.
Duties: (include, but not limited to)
Handling of reservation requests via phone and email
Converting customer contacts into reservations
Answer and resolve customer inquiries
Build good relationships internally and externally
Up-Sell where appropriate
Administrative duties ? Filing, faxing, copying, phones, etc.
Database Maintenance ? Guest files, computerized and manual systems
Checking Guests In and Out (this involves working outside during the hot summer months and standing for certain periods of time)
Requirements:
Great computer skills
Microsoft Office ? Word, Excel, Outlook
Previous reservations or sales experience
Two years customer service experience
Fluent in the English language, multi-lingual helpful
Excellent communication skills
