Accounting Manager Job Opening in Canton, Michigan - Full-time Accounting Manager for a rapidly-growing Distributor of Medical Supplies. This position reports to the CEO and has responsibility for all aspects of corporate accounting as described below:
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, cash receipts, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, and general accounting
Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments
Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records for CEO
Generate monthly reports to provide commercial and private lenders
Lead annual process
Work closely with CEO in the development and evaluation of various fringe benefit programs for employees
Interface with outside audit firm, bank, casualty/liability insurance agent, credit card companies, and collection agencies
Oversee the corporate ERP system; manage licenses and authorizations for all users.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor?s Degree preferred; Equivalent work experience considered
· Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing accounting functions
· Experience working in the Medical Device industry or in a hospital setting is preferred
· Experience using SAP preferred
