Title: Aviation/Weather Software Engineer
Location: Melbourne, FL

Required Qualifications
5+ Years of experience in software development with BS/MS degree in CS, SE or Math
2+ Years weather or aviation domain experience
Experience with domain specific Information Exchange Models (AIXM, WXXM, FIXM, etc)
Understanding of Object-Oriented design
in Java
Experience developing RESTful Web Services
Familiar with Linux Operating Systems
A strong problem solver, troubleshooter, and critical thinker
Comfortable using configuration management tools such as git, svn
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Due to the nature of these positions, candidates must be US Citizens
Must be able & willing to pass government background checks
Beneficial Skills
Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef
Experience with Geospatial tools such as GeoServer and/or OpenLayers
Experience using a Cloud Computing offering (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience in software architecture, modeling and software frameworks
Familiarity with NoSQL paradigm.
