JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Administrative Assistant will work under the supervision of the VP of Operations and Corporate Collections and A/R Manager. The Business Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative duties and collection of monies in the local office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews and inputs sponsored student authorization forms to ensure all information is complete for billing purposes.
Oversees file organization and data base maintenance.
Reviews sponsored students' accounts for payment status.
Communicates with both students and sponsors concerning past due invoices and generates collection letters to students with outstanding past balances.
Assists with business office operations, including student enrollment, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of college or an Associate's degree in Business or Accounting or related field
Two years of business experience (bookkeeping/data entry/collections).
Proven excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with a diverse employee and student population
Must be highly organized, able to multitask, and be a self-starter who can work independently and with a high degree of confidentiality
Position requires business aptitude, math skills, and strong work ethic
Strong student-centered focus; commitment to student satisfaction and success
Effective problem-solving and decision making abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Demonstrate financial management and budgeting skills
Make sound business decisions based on data and statistics
Utilize the latest technology to enhance the growth of an organization

Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.

Physical Requirements:
Individual must sit for long periods of time at a desk
Individual must physical travel in a car to different locations
Individual must be able to lift up to 25 lbs to transport supplies, course materials, marketing materials, etc. to different locations
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25,000.00 to $27,000.00 /year
