Sales Associate/ Artist Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - Employees of Palmetto Clayground are here to inspire, guide, teach, and clean up after our guests. Employees will be expected to perform the following duties:
Be artistically driven and have an art portfolio to present at the time of the interview. Greet customers and teach them about our product offerings in an engaging way. Conduct kids camps, birthday parties, and classes. Unpack shipments and update inventory. Stock shelves and design displays of finished work. Carefully glaze, load, and unload the kiln. Wrap finished orders and call customers for pick-up or package for delivery. Work the cash register, run credit cards, and answer the phone. Mop, dust, take out the trash, clean and organize tables, chairs, counters, windows, paintbrushes, sinks, the kiln room and more to maintain an inviting studio atmosphere. Work independently and as a team. Employees will take direction from the owner, manager or supervisor and will complete all assigned tasks in an orderly and timely fashion.
